I recently hosted a baby shower for my beautiful friend Emily, along with a few of her friends.
(Okay, if I’m being honest, it was just a brilliant excuse to play with crafts.)
I made this banner out of scrapbook paper and cardstock. (See the full tutorial here.)
I really stretched that one pack of scrapbook paper! I made this garland…

Little cupcake topper decoration thingys (there on the left):

…and various other garlands throughout the house. I bought a couple packs of tissue paper and made tissue pom-poms (hanging over the food table above) and here in the living room on either side of the fireplace:

And I picked up a couple of super cheapo white frames and used the rest of the scrapbook paper to make these little decorations. One frame had the baby’s name and its meaning; the other had a sweet little Bible verse.

There were scraps of tissue paper and scrapbook paper in everything for weeks before the shower, but it was all worth to see my beautiful friend Emily and her little one (due very soon!) get lots of fun stuff.

Everything was perfect Kelly! You girls were so sweet to throw such a great shower for us =)
I still need to bring a flashdrive over so I can get pictures from you. Perhaps when I return all the pregnancy stuff =)
Thank you again!
Great … post keep posting such stuff.
