My hubby and I have sponsored a girl from Bolivia through Compassion for the last 9 years — we’d been dating for about 6 months and went to a concert where they passed around the kids’ pictures during intermission. Kathya is the one we were handed, and Rocky looked at the location and realized he’d walked the streets of her town when he was there on a mission trip in high school. Definitely a God-thing! We don’t write to her as often as we should, but we love reading her letters and watching her grow up!
